Dear colleagues

The Learning Technology Enhancement team dissemination events continue with three "lunch bite" sessions over the next month considering some practical applications for delivering feedback. These events, planned in discussion with the Education Strategy team follow on from our first successful event on 20/02/12 where feedback was considered in a wider context.

Each "lunch bite" will present and consider how a tool available through Myplace has been and can be used to facilitate feedback activity and will give time for discussion.
The events will be held in GH208, the main CAPLE teaching room, and drinks and nibbles will be provided.

The "lunch bite" sessions are now available for booking at http://bookings.strath.ac.uk/courseDetails.asp?course=STEP. Booking is not essential but will allow us to plan for catering more effectively.

Details are as follows:

Monday 27th Feb: 13:05 to 13:55: Feedback using PeerMark through Myplace
PeerMark, from the Turnitin suite of applications, provides a platform for students to write peer reviews of fellow student's work.

Friday 9th March: 13:05 to 13:55: Feedback using the Gradebook in Myplace

Thursday 15th March: 12:05 to 12:55: Feedback using Quizzes in Myplace

Cheers
Sue
