[myplace-announce] Sharing technology enhanced practice: new booking system for events

Dear colleagues

Following yesterday's Learning Technology Enhancement team dissemination events email I have amended the booking process to allow for booking on to more than 1 event. The bookings are now taken through the Myplace class LTESTEP where related materials and links will also be posted.

Please follow the link http://classes.myplace.strath.ac.uk/course/view.php?id=16886 to book a place on any of the lunch bite events below. The first time you visit this site you will need to enrol in the class. (You can unenrol at a later date if you wish)

These events, planned in discussion with the Education Strategy team follow on from our first successful event on 20/02/12 where feedback was considered in a wider context.

Each "lunch bite" will present and consider how a tool available through Myplace has been and can be used to facilitate feedback activity and will give time for discussion.
The events will be held in GH208, the main CAPLE teaching room, and drinks and nibbles will be provided.

PeerMark, from the Turnitin suite of applications, provides a platform for students to write peer reviews of fellow student's work.

I apologise for any inconvenience yesterday's email my have caused for those trying to book on addition events that the booking system did not allow. All bookings from the previous system have been moved to the Myplace booking system.
