Hi Gul,
Some thoughts on your issue:
1. How many start-up days are you running for each simulation? As a first option, I would suggest running them with somewhere in the region of 60 start-up days and see what happens.
2. What climate data are you using? If you are using imported data which does not cover the whole year, check the data file and the data as reported in the cli module very carefully to ensure that esp-r knows exactly what data goes where.
3. I am not 100% sure how the start-up days work in esp-r, but just to be safe I would make sure your climate data covers the entire period assuming the start-up days are just tacked on to the beginning of the simulation.
4. What modelling domains are you running? Particularly, are you using plant networks or CFD? If you are running either of these, I think the default behaviour is for them to be disabled during the start-up days; this well be why you are seeing differences.
Best regards,
Andy Cowie

Subject: [esp-r] different heating consumption values for the same day
Date: Mon, Apr 28, 2014 16:11
Dear All,
My question is;
For the same model I make 2 simulations; one of which is between 1 of november and 11 of november. My second simulation is between 2 of november and 11 of november.
As it is seen both of the simulations includes 2 of November. When I compare these two simulation results for 2 of november they have different heating consumptions.
If anyone knows why it happens I will be so happy.
Thank you for your help and time.
best wishes
Gul
