Hello,

I'm rather new to ESP-r and have been struggling to find a way to
implement active/operable shading. I want to put a feature in my
model where the amount of shading over a window reacts to external
parameters such as the outside temperature, inside temperature and
solar radiation. An example of active shading would be when the
building is overheating, the shades will increase and block out the
sun. The opposite condition would exist when the building is cool and
the Sun is shinning, the amount of shading would decrease to allow
more solar gains. Does anyone know if this feature exists in ESP-r or
how to make it work?

Currently I have several models with different level of shades and
alternate models using bash scripts in Linux. It's a quick fix but
doesn't work the way I want. Any help would be appreciated.

Jeremy
