This is a known issue.  It has been fixed and I think that it is available in the current
development_branch (or will be in the development_branch shortly).  It definitely
is in the Jon_Hand branch.  So best not to use the 'trunk'.

Lucida is a font that is no longer distributed with Ubuntu.  If you went back to
Ubuntu 10.4 there is no problem.

Trouble after installing esp-r on Linux Ubuntu 11.4

I get the following error message when trying to run esp-r:

wachenfeldtb at wachenfeldtb-Precision-M4600:~/trunk/src$ display :0 doesn't know font -*-lucida-medium-r-*-*-10-*-*-*-*-*-*-* ...
2nd choice font 6x12ucida-medium-r-*-*-10-*-*-*-*-*-*-* has not been found so quitting.

Does anyone have any idea on what to do to solve this?
