I looked into this coding issue yesterday. In newer versions of ESP-r when you get
the message the internal logic has already corrected the optical data in memory and generally
the construction and tmc files have correct data if they have been re-created.
TRAN is a place-holder which is ok in the geometry file.
All that is needed to get rid of the message is to go to the zone geometry menu
and then save the geometry file. This will write the correct optical name into the
geometry file.
I have committed a change that clarifies the message about mis-matching optics.

Subject: [esp-r] Low-e double glazing
Dear All,
I am having a problem with creating a low-e double glazing unit in one of my models. I am using data obtained from Window 5 and imputing the data manually into the optics, multi-layer constuction and materials databases respectively (see attached)
When I go to simulate the following message appears
Optics in geo file TRAN does not match optics of the MLC Lowe_DG
I have rebuilt the construction files after changing the data and results-wise am getting improvements in energy performance over the standard double glazing unit in the database but am just wondering if anyone knows where I might be off?
Kind Regards
Cathal
