[esp-r] Re: Several zones facing the same zone

You just need to delete the hallway's wall and then copy and invert the room's walls (using the copy surface from another zone option - and then the invert option) to the hallway. If there is a gap in your wall after this process (for example, if any part of this wall is exposed to the outside or wherever else), close it by making a new surface from the existing vertices.
Also, if the construction of this wall is not symmetric you will need to define an inverted construction in the constructions database.

Hope this helps,
Georgios

Subject: [esp-r] Several zones facing the same zone

Dear usergroup,

I am doing a simulation on a hotel where several zones (rooms) are facing the same zone (the same wall in the hallway).

My questions is can this be modeled in ESP-r or do I need to subdivide the wall in the hallway to match the number of zones facing the wall and can this be done easily?

Any help is appreciated.

Best regards

Per Haugaard
