[esp-r] Check of cookbook exercises

I'm a newbie with ESP-r (and also an undergrad civil engineering student),
and I'm looking for a way to numerically validate the exercises in the
cookbook to ensure I'm doing them properly, beyond just the charts that are
reproduced in the cookbook - this is especially important for me ,since I
don't have the 'evolved intuition' about building science that most users
have, so I need some quantitative proof for myself and my supervisor that I
know how to use the program.
