A recent question about setting zone controls to match
measured conditions....
If you have measurements from an experiment for the temperature
within a zone it is possible to define a control that does an ideal
match to timestep data read in from an external file. Often this
is done to ensure correct boundary conditions in adjacent
zones to a test chamber. There is a module called tdf which
can import time-series data (such as setpoint temperatures)
and then these can be associated with a zone. The procedure
is partially automated.
However, first consider - zone air temperature is <derived> from
the current energy flows at surfaces and air movement within the
zone as well as interactions with zone environmental controls.
It might be ok to control adjacent zones to measured temperature
but if you also control a test room to a measured temperature what
is the purpose of the virtual experiment?
And check which version of ESP-r you are using. 8 periods
in a day is a smaller number than I think the current standard
definition allows.
