About UCU-announce	English (USA)
ucu-announce is an email list set up to allow the local branch of Strathclyde UCU to quickly send news items and information to its members at Strathclyde. This list is not a discussion list and will only be used by the local committee to send information to members. The purpose of the list is to quickly keep members up to date with issues locally and nationally, to remind members about General Meetings and alert them to any issues which they may feel requires wider discussion. Items sent from the national office which are deemed to be of interest to members may also be sent out on this list from time to time. To see the collection of prior postings to the list, visit the UCU-announce Archives. (The current archive is only available to the list members.)
Using UCU-announce
To post a message to all the list members, send email to ucu-announce@lists.strath.ac.uk. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to UCU-announce
Subscribe to UCU-announce by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a hidden list, which means that the list of members is available only to the list administrator. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
