Reminder notification of planned Myplace downtime for essential maintenance


Dear Colleague,



Please note that as per our initial announcement on 10th December 2013, Myplace will be unavailable on the morning of *Tuesday 21 January 2014* to allow essential maintenance and release of new features.  Please avoid scheduling critical activity such as online assignment submission deadlines on this day.  Myplace will be unavailable from 7.30am until approximately 11.30am.



New features include the following.



*        New settings for online assignments developed in consultation with the University's Assessment and Feedback Working Group which allow lecturers to enter planned dates for marking completion and release of marks to students.

*        A gradebook wizard to help staff create a standard gradebook layout for classes - feedback from staff has indicated that it is useful to create consistent gradebooks across classes for categorising and weighting marks as appropriate to calculate a class total for students and registry marks return.
