TEACHING AND LEARNING ONLINE (TALON)

The Teaching and Learning Online training course (http://talon.strath.ac.uk), which will next run from 6 February, can be taken as a stand-alone professional development course or as the first half of a PGC Advanced Academic Studies accredited module. This training course is primarily for teaching staff and is delivered entirely online by the Learning Technology Enhancement Team. Participants on the course experience a wide range of online tools and activities; engage in online course activities from a student's perspective; experience online engagement and collaboration; gain a broader understanding of effective learning design using online platforms and design online activities for both face-to-face and online delivery. The course runs over a six week period and requires a commitment of about four hours per week. Additional course dates have now been released.
