Dear colleagues

We'd like to draw your attention to the following forthcoming event:

Learning Technology Enhancement Information Forum

Thursday 22nd September, 2-4.30pm

Professor Colin Grant, Associate Deputy Principal, will open the forum which provides staff with an opportunity to:

*         Get an overview of recent and forthcoming developments on Myplace;

 *   Hear about successful case studies on uses of learning technologies during the 2010-11 session;
 * Find out how to get engaged with and influence future LTE developments to support innovation in teaching and learning.

Dr Chris Prior, Vice-Dean Academic for Science, will discuss the recent migration from SPIDER VLE to Myplace and the innovative developments that are now available for all staff and students as a result. In partnership with academic colleagues, the LTE Team will introduce some of the range of innovative approaches to assessment that have been undertaken using Myplace and related technologies during the last academic session.

More information and booking details are available at:

This isn't a detailed presentation of technical development, but an opportunity for you to meet your Faculty Learning Technology Advisor, the LTE development team and colleagues from across the institution who share an interest in innovating through technology in Education.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Kind regards,
Cathy
