Hi all, hi Joe,
basically, that is good news!
After merging the new code with my local (slightly changed) code and clean compile, trying to load a model sadly leads to serious problems, though.
So, community, if you have models with plants that use hydronic floors/slabs, be careful (item 7. of the change log seems to reference this but states “alternative radiant floor” …). It seems the expected format is not backwards-compatible and you need to enter five additional data items. The/a corresponding exemplar using the radiant floor “cellular_GSHP” has not been updated to the new format, so can’t be used as blue-print and will not work. I couldn’t find any other model to use as example for the new format, but probably there is one, somewhere in the collection.
Also, according to my code-check while merging, the containments for plant components seem to have been changed from “layer” (for surface-embedded plant components) to “node” (there does not seem to be any hint to this in the change log). So, even though I haven’t tried this yet (due to the slab issue), probably the model will run but your components will not be in the expected layer of your construction.
Best
Achim
