The group that maintains Ubuntu does not keep archives for older versions
of Ubuntu and so apt-get requests do not get answered. I suggest you go
for a newer Ubuntu - say 14.04 or the last LTS version.

Subject: [esp-r] esp-r installation
Hi,
I am triny to install esp-r on Linux (I tried ubuntu 11.10, 12.04, 10.10). However I get error "E: Unable to locate package" when I run "apt-get install xfig".
I also get this error when I run ""apt-get install build-essential " and others.
If anyone have an idea to solve this problem I will be thankful.
Best wishes
Gul
