[esp-r] esp-r installation

Hi, I am triny to install esp-r on Linux (I tried ubuntu 11.10, 12.04, 10.10). However I get error "E: Unable to locate package" when I run "apt-get install xfig". I also get this error when I run ""apt-get install build-essential " and others. If anyone have an idea to solve this problem I will be thankful. Best wishes Gul
