The messages you get from ESP-r are not errors. It is just that the file formats
used by ESP-r evolve over time. There is a newer version of the zone operation files
which hold more information and the message is offering you the option to scan the
old format files and write them out with the current format. Once you have updated
the file that message about updating will not show up again. If you refuse to update
the zone operation files the next time you work with the model it will detect that the
file format is ancient and suggest you update them.

And the request to update the model control file - new information was created as
you used the project manager and it is just getting your confirmation to update
that file. That kind of message is expected as you work on models.

Hi Ricardo,

My first suggestion would be to back up your model and then try allowing ESP-r to update the model files (ie. selecting "yes" to the pop-ups). If this does not work then I would suggest re-generating the model files from within the ESP-r interface. If you cannot access the necessary options to do this then there may be a deeper problem that we could look into, if you can provide us with more details.

When was the last time you used the model? The messages would suggest that this is an old model.

Hi,

Recently when I open my model from Win version (w7 v12) I get this message:

[cid:ii_14b2c26e9ae8a32f]

[cid:ii_14b2c3177b0d18b5]

What does this message mean and what can I do to not re-appear.

Thank you,

Regards,
Ricardo
