Occupants are treated a bit differently than other casual gains. The interface takes the W/m2 definition of people and changes it in the file to be
either Watts or people/m2. If you ask for a model contents report you should see the units for people clearly if you are using
a current version of ESP-r. -Jon Hand

Subject: [esp-r] units for casual gains
Dear All
Could it be possible that with the casual gain definition for people the unit W/m2 is not working? I could chose the unit W/m2 in the menue, but the it will not appear printed in the file. The same problem happens, if I try to import old .opr files with the unit -1 (for internal gain of people in W/m2).
Any hints are welcome!
Thanks,
Caroline
