Its log_trace.txt - which is created everytime I ran bps, I have
configured an input.xml file which looks like this:
<?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
<configuration>
<hierarchy>tree</hierarchy>
<output_dictionary>true</output_dictionary>
<step_output_format>csv</step_output_format>
<log_output_format>xml</log_output_format>
<step_variable>building/zone_01/air_point/temperature</step_variable>
<step_variable>climate/solar/direct_normal_radiation</step_variable>
<step_variable>climate/dry_bulb_temperature</step_variable>
<step_variable>climate/relative_humidity</step_variable>
<step_variable>climate/solar/diffuse_horizontal_radiation</step_variable>
<time_step_averaging>false
</time_step_averaging>
</configuration>
and log_trace.txt looks like this,
