Not sure what "log trace" is.  What application is running that generates this
file?  What are the contents of this file?  Are there many of these files and
what kind of names are these files?

Actually, the easy way is to find some unique strings that are written
into the file and then search the source for matching strings and that
would provide a good indication of the facility involved.
