Try to run at sub second time step or the smallest you can.

I have a ‘simple’ integrated problem with a single thermal zone, a plant description of an AHU and a flow network controlling the AHU fans and % of outdoor air. Strangely the thermal zone shows a ventilation loss of about 2 kW while the AHU fan is on and heating. Can anyone explain this?

Some details:

1) The heating coil does heat the supply air to its set point (checked in the plant results)

2) The zone air temperature (from building results) is less than the supply air temperature (from plant results)

3) The building results show both a sensible heating load and a ventilation loss

4) Flow results show the fans coming on and off at the correct time and balanced flow into/out of the thermal zone’s node

Any suggestions welcome…

Thanks,

Iain
