[esp-r] Recompiling esp-r on windows

Dear All,
 
 
As part of my project I have to edit a few line in the convect2.f source file. I am now having trouble working out how to recompile and run esp-r on my windows 7 machine. The Readme.txt file contained in the "src" directory seems to only contain instructions for installation on a linux machine??  Anyone know how I can recompile the source code on windows?
