An example model which shows a number of variants of obstruction blocks
is the 'simple' model with shading.
All the obstructions do have 6 sides, but they do not need to be rectangular.
And they can have one or two angles of rotation.

Subject: [esp-r] Non-rectangular obstruction block
Hi,
I am working in ESP-r version 11.4 modeling a building with a large non-rectangular roof which shades the south facaing facades.
I read in a prior mail from Jon, that obstruction blocks can be modelled with 6 sides. This seens hardli possible when looking at the .obs file.
My question is how can I model an obstruction block or shading which 5 or 6 sides?
/Per
