Hi Per

you most likely need a newer version of ESP-r or must at least convert your
.geo file to the new format with tags. Then you can define non-rectangular
obstructions. There should be a menu item "convert to free form" (or
similar) in the obstruction editing menu.

Hi,   I am working in ESP-r version 11.4 modeling a building with a large
non-rectangular roof which shades the south facaing facades.   I read in a
prior mail from Jon, that obstruction blocks can be modelled with 6 sides.
This seens hardli possible when looking at the .obs file.    My question is
how can I model an obstruction block or shading which 5 or 6 sides?
