[esp-r] Crash when adding surface "made from existing verticies"

Hi all,

i encountered a bug in the windows 11.9 gcc3 version: when trying to add a surface with "made from existing verticies" the program crashes. Tried a second pc with the same result (but same OS, same hardware...)
