Hello Jon, Achim & fellow ESP-r Community ,
I have some questions / comments with regards to the topic IPV (Integrated
Performance View).
1) When I enter >simulation controller > integrate performance view> IPV options
> run required simulations > run interactively I can extract manually the
respective "res" & "mfr" files. When I go.... > run required simulations > run
silently I consistently get the following error for each of the 5 seasons and
the respective "res" & "mfr" files are not generated:
"task terminated with an error
condition
task terminated with an error
condition
task terminated with an error
condition
task terminated with an error
condition
task terminated with an error
condition
* Reached end of file looking for report!"
When I enter IPV options >extract reports > run interactively I can extract /
create manually the respective IVP file. When I go.... > run required
simulations > run silently I consistently get the following error and the
respective "IPV" (rep) file is not generated:
"task terminated with an error
condition
* IPV extract ipv_win1 is
complete.
task terminated with an error
condition
* IPV extract ipv_spr is
complete.
task terminated with an error
condition
* IPV extract ipv_sum is
complete.
task terminated with an error
condition
* IPV extract ipv_aut is
complete.
task terminated with an error
condition
* IPV extract ipv_win2 is
complete.
task terminated with an error
condition
* Reached end of file looking for report!"
Do you know how to get around this so that I can generate the files / reports
silently?
2) The Cookbook 2008 does not have too much information with regards to this
topic. Is there a document that describes exactly what I am looking at when I
open the IPV (rep) file?
From what I can tell, when I open the IPV (rep) file it looks like I have a list
of information: the seasonal data and an aggregate summary. Each seasonal data
is broken down into overview information; simulated periods information;
individual days (included in the respective simulation period sections); and
finally summary data.
3) Right now I can view the IPV file in the text window. Is there some way to
view this IPV file in a graphic window?
Regards,
Ian
