Hello.
I tried make of esp-r on Ubuntu 10.04beta. The method of doing the build is shown as follows.
$ sudo apt-get install subversion
$ svn checkout https://espr.svn.cvsdude.com/esp-r/trunk
$ sudo apt-get install build-essential
$ sudo apt-get install console-tools-dev
$ sudo apt-get install expect-dev
$ sudo apt-get install gfortran
$ sudo apt-get install gettext
$ sudo apt-get install libtool
$ sudo apt-get install linux-source
$ sudo apt-get install subversion-tools
$ sudo apt-get install valgrind
$ sudo apt-get install libxml2-dev
$ sudo apt-get install netpbm
$ sudo apt-get install libx11-6-dbg
$ sudo apt-get install enscript
$ sudo apt-get install psutils
$ sudo apt-get install gsfonts-x11
When GTK is used with esp-r, the GTK library is installed as follows.
$ sudo apt-get install libgtk2.0-dev
It moves to the directory that has preserved the source code.
$ sudo ./Install -d /opt/esru --gcc4
