thank you for your answer.
for the amd64 issue you are right, I'm using only the 32 bit version for prj 
and 64bit version for ish.
For the cygwin problem I'm getting core dumps  on 32bit machine. It occurs on 
new cygwin 1.7 on cygwin 1.5 it runs without any flaw.
