Dear Achim£¬
Thank you for giving answers to my question. But I wonder how to extend the number of zones allowed by change of source or recompiling?Would you please tell me the specific operations? Moreover, why it is hazardous going beyond 99 zones? What if I build a high-rise building which may be over 20 floors? Then I can only prepare 3-4 zones for each floor. If so,the accuracy of simulation results may be worrisome.Thanks!Daisy.

Dear Daisy
it would maybe be possible to extend the number of zones allowed (change of source, recompile ¨C though going beyond 99 zones may prove hazardous). However, I would strongly recommend first checking if you cannot reduce the number of zones in actually necessary in the model by combining thermally similar ¡°real rooms¡± to one thermal zone. Keep in mind that bookkeeping for such a number of zones is exponentially error prone and time consuming.
Regards
Achim

Subject: [esp-r] Normal maximum zones value 72£¿
Dear all£¬
I am trying to build a real hospital model. There are many zones in every floor. This afternoon,I met a problem that when I built more than 72 zones, the esp-r closed itself, reminding segmentation fault, and I can't open the configution file again, warning that zones value(73) > normal maximum 72!I have never known that.If maximum zones value is 72,how can I do to build the hospital model with more than 300 zones for the total five storeys?Your answers will be appreciated!Grateful thanks in advance.
Daisy.
