[esp-r] install error - aco.exe error

Hello all,

I recently checked out the development branch and tried to install it.  (I am using cygwin, gcc v. 3.4.4).  Part-way though installation, I got the following message (after a lot of jargon):

"
make[1]: *** [aco.exe] error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory '/home/LiamO/Scr/csvdude/development_branch/scr/esruaco'
make: *** [aco] Error 2
--------------
Install: Fatal error.
Executable aco could not be built!
Installation aborted.

"

Any thoughts?
