[esp-r] Warning on the use of software uninstall facility for ESP-r on Windows XP

We had a email from a user who was running ESP-r on Windows XP and
used the XP software removal process to remove ESP-r.  This seems to
have caused some loss of files on the users machine.   One specific about
this is that they had re-defined their HOMEPATH environment variable
to point to C:\Esru\models.  There is some thought that this definition
was the cause.

Exercise care if you try to remove ESP-r via the standard XP facility.

To determine if this is an issue that needs a warning in the installer
we would be interested to hear whether anyone else experienced
difficulties with their computers after uninstalling ESP-r.
