[esp-r] Re: CFD problem

Dear Nalin

attached is your model in a configuration in which the air flow network to CFD conflation seems to be working (the thermal conflation is giving "Error: Invalid BC type" warnings, though). However, as you, I had the error messages you give. Additionally, prj hung at the message. A look at the source seems to imply that this message should not really happen at this point and should surely not hang prj. Maybe somebody on the list that has programmed in the CFD module can take a look.

The CFD is quite finicky in regard to convergence. At the beginning of the run, you may have to accept unconverged solutions as converged a few times. Having the large openings open to the exterior also leads to problems every few hours.

The entry for air flow network conflation in the .dfs file was done by hand.

Best regards
Achim

Dear Monika

The problem is not with the walls, I have conflated the CFD defined walls with the construction Walls and it works fine but if I try to conflate the openings with the network flow connection it gives the error "cells are not compatible with chosen face please redefine" I have again attached the CFD definition file the lines which define the airflow are not changed because ESP-r gives the above mentioned error.

Regards

Nalin
