[esp-r] Problems compiling ESP-r on Suse 10.2 enterprise

Dear all,

 

Has some body a solution or workaround for the following compiling
error?

 

cd `pwd`/lib; \

make the_libX11

g77: installation problem, cannot exec `cc1': No such file or directory

make[1]: *** [esru_ask.o] Error 1

make[1]: Leaving directory `/opt/resources/esp-r/trunk/src/lib'

make: *** [libX11] Error 2

 Install: Fatal error. 

 Executable libX11 could not be built!

 Installation aborted.

 

The compatibility for 32 bit stuff has been installed
