Those of you who have been frustrated when editing multiple numbers
(e.g. the X Y Z co-ordinates of a surface vertex) in the Native Windows
version of ESP-r

.......drum roll......tracked down the problem and
have just spent a not-at-all frustrating session tweaking vertex
positions in several models with the same ease as has been
possible in the Cygwin version and the MacOSX version and
the Linux version. The interface also now provides a clue
as to how much text can be edited when the dialog box
happens to be wider than the text to be edited.

The gory details - in the case of editing those three numbers the
string buffer was made a bit bigger and an alternative logic
was used to pass back the text edited in the dialog box (deep
in the C code) back to the fortran.

And of course there might be other dialogs where the string
buffer isn't as big as it needs to be for smooth editing so
there is a bit more work to be done but at least progress
is being made and the next release should be an improvement
for all.
