The aim of this session is to provide a focused overview over the recent applications and development of machine learning algorithms for surface science applications, including image recognition, reinforcement learning, Bayesian statistics-based analysis methods, and much more. Besides topical talks by Maria Chan, Milica Todorovi?, Christian Wagner and Pascal Friedrich, it offers an on-hand coding workshop and a dedicated virtual poster session. We welcome further contributions from and discussion with the community. The deadline for the abstract submission is Jan 25th (https://www.dpg-tagung.de/ss21/submission.html?language=en ) With best wishes, Karin Zojer, Stefan Kowarik and Oliver Hofmann http://psi-k.net/events/minisymposium-on-machine-learning-in-surface-scien -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed...
