<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">We understand that there were a number of issues reported relating to Myplace access over the weekend. (18<sup>th</sup> and 19<sup>th</sup> October 2014)<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">Information Services (IS) has confirmed that there was a major fault in one of the University’s data centres that affected access to a large number of University services, unfortunately this affected access to
Myplace. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="color:#1F497D">Myplace access issues were resolved by 7.30pm on Sunday 19<sup>th</sup> October and the vast majority of other services have been operating normally as of the morning of Monday 20<sup>th</sup> October. As is
usual practice, IS have been updating the University’s IS Service page to indicate service availability:
