[myplace-announce] Myplace upgrade - Sunday 20th January 2013

Myplace will be unavailable on Sunday 20th January 2013 between 5pm and 7.30pm.
This is to enable an upgrade which will add a number of improvements:

 *   H drive repository plugin: staff and students will now be able to access files on their personal H drive directly in the file upload dialog box
 *   Improved communications tool: groups within a class can now be targeted, and senders can copy themselves into messages
 *   Class catalogue resource: details on a class can be pulled in from the class catalogue and displayed in the main class page
 *   Exam theme: a new theme optimised for online exams
 *   Improved Myplace theme: various improvements to the default theme, particularly for pages which are currently difficult to navigate such as the gradebook
 *   Bulk enrolment: staff can search for users by registration number or username and enrol them on a class
 *   Upgrade of core Moodle system to version 2.3.4
Additional information about these updates will be available following the upgrade.
