In the run up to the start of the new session we are running a number of training courses during July, August and September.


 *   Following the upgrade of Myplace in June the learning Technology Enhancement team are running Myplace 2012 Workshops<http://bookings.strath.ac.uk/courseDetails.asp?course=M12W> during July, August and September where the significant enhancements and changes will be highlighted. The workshops will include an informal session where participants can ask questions and develop content in their own classes with support.

 *   The Teaching and Learning Online<http://bookings.strath.ac.uk/courseDetails.asp?course=TLON> training course will next run from 20th August 2012. This course for teaching staff can be taken as a standalone course or completed as the first half of an Advanced Academic Studies accredited module. The course will be delivered entirely online by the Learning Technology Enhancement Team. Participants on the course will experience a wide range of online tools and activities; engage in online course activities from a student's perspective; experience online engagement and collaboration; gain a broader understanding of effective learning design using online platforms and; design online activities for both face-to-face and online delivery. The course will run over a six week period and will require a commitment of about four hours per week.
Due to demand an additional cohort will is now available starting on 20th August.
