Do you fire up prj (or dbs) from the /cfg folder? The notation "../dbs" only works if the program is running from the cfg folder, as far as I know. I also use (a copy of) development_branch and have not had this issue. I habitually fire up esp-r programs from the cfg-folder, however. I also use the "<span style="font-family: Menlo; font-size: 11px; ">*clm</span><span style="font-family: Menlo; font-size: 11px; "> </span><span style="font-family: Menlo; font-size: 11px; ">../dbs/climate_file</span>" notation.</div><div><br></div><div>I am not sure what you mean by "the path for model" is "[..]/cfg/../dbs". Is your "name_of_file/cfg" a general notation for "name_of_model/cfg"? Anyway, a path argument can have "../" at the beginning and also in the middle. In console input, in any case. I do not know if this is O.K. for path arguments inside ESP-r, though. At a guess it is probably not a good idea.</div><div><br></div><div>Best</div><div>Achim</div><div><br></div><div><br><div><div>On Dec 29, 2013, at 10:47 AM, Arianna Sdei <<a href="mailto:A.Sdei@brighton.ac.uk">A.Sdei@brighton.ac.uk</a>> wrote:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><blockquote type="cite">Dear Achim, <br><br>I am using the current development_branch , and the climate file is entered in .cfg as ../dbs/EastMalling_2012 .
