This workshop is primarily intended for those new to ESP-r. However for those of you who are more experienced with ESP-r, you can use an introductory course to hone your strategies to plan and build models that work the first time. For those of you who are in charge of checking other people’s models, this workshop will give you plenty of tips for zeroing in on inconsistencies in models. LOCATION: Room M3.22 (3rd floor) James Weir Building 75 Montrose Street Glasgow G1 1XJ Map link: <a class="moz-txt-link-freetext" href="http://www.strath.ac.uk/maps/jamesweirbuilding">http://www.strath.ac.uk/maps/jamesweirbuilding</a> PROGRAMME: Day 1: Basic concepts - planning and creating models, simulation and results analysis Day 2: Skills development - increased model resolution, environmental controls, simple airflow networks, and demonstrations of advanced features Day 3: More detailed modelling including complex airflow networks and control, plus quality assurance of models The workshop will be fast-paced and interactive.  Delegates should find a wealth of productive techniques and tips from experts to do simulation quicker, cheaper, and better. The Workshop runs from 9h00 to 17h00 each day, with tea and lunch breaks. If you want to bring along your own laptop for use during the course, please let us know so we can determine if it is compatible. If you have a particular simulation project in mind, bring details and we might just use it during the course!
