International Conference in Microgeneration and Related Technologies will be
held at the University of Strathclyde, Glasgow 4-6 April 2011. The conference
is organised jointly by the SUPERGEN Highly Distributed Energy Futures Research
Consortium (HiDEF) and IEA ECBCS Research Annex 54 on the Integration of
Micro-Generation and Related Energy Technologies in Buildings. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal><span style='font-size:12.0pt'><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class=MsoNormal style='margin-bottom:12.0pt'><span style='font-size:12.0pt;
color:black'>The conference theme is <i>enabling a highly distributed energy
future</i>, focusing on the potential and role in future energy systems of
thermal and electrical microgeneration technologies such as PV, solar thermal,
heat pumps, micro CHP (including fuel cells), biomass boilers and micro wind.
The conference is multi-disciplinary and is an invaluable opportunity for the
many disparate stakeholders working in the field to meet and exchange knowledge
at a time of rapid technological developments and changes to energy supplies
and systems worldwide.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
