Hi Ian

the "do not integrate" must be set in prj before you simulate. When you change the time step (number of time steps per hour), prj asks if every time step or hourly values should be saved. Here you say "every time step".

Oversizing may influence the simulation depending on time step. If enough power is available, any temperature change can be egalized in one time step. If not enough power is available, it may take more than one time step. Of course, this will also depend on time steps.

Best
Achim

--------- Original-Nachricht --------
Von: "Ian McCall" <ijmccall@yahoo.com>
An: "ESP-r" <esp-r@lists.strath.ac.uk>, "Achim.geissler" <achim.geissler@intergga.ch>
Cc: "Jon Hand" <jon@esru.strath.ac.uk>
Betreff: [esp-r] Res: AW: H3K / XML / CSV Output
Datum: 25/08/10 17:33

<!-- !

The h3k output, however, is always the time step. The switch "time step averaging" does not do what one might expect (at least I did), namely average the time steps to an hour. It averages the run time "present" and "future" values for each variable before output.

So, the only basis for comparison would be "do not integrate time step values" for res.

What kind of control do you have?

2) h3k output is controlled by the input.xml file. Via the menu you can (basically) set th!
is up.
As far as I know, both .csv (time step results) and .xml (summary results) are always generated.

Best
Achim

--------- Original-Nachricht --------
Von: "Ian McCall" <ijmccall@yahoo.com>
An: "ESP-r" <esp-r@lists.strath.ac.uk>
Cc: "Jon Hand" <jon@esru.strath.ac.uk>
Betreff: [esp-r] H3K / XML / CSV Output
Datum: 25/08/10 11:39

Hello Fellow ESP-r Community,

1) I have recently been playing with the H3K / XML / CSV Output on the ESP-r native windows version.

I ran the simulation at time steps of 20 minutes. When I look at the results file > sensible heating load ... I get a total value and list of values that look reasonable.
#Time BasseHeatInj(kW)
'00:30:30' 3.44<br

It! also occurs on ESP-r Linux version. Any ideas?

2) When I go into the >Integrated Simulation >H3K Reports Configuration the menu seems to have a several sensitivities:
- I can enable the H3K Reports but I cannot dis-able the reports (i.e. H3K Reports >> enabled) ... normally a second click should disable the reports and close the menus (i.e. H3K Reports >> disabled).
- There is no option of the output i.e. CVS or XLM (i.e. XSLT Formatted output) ... it seems to output both files at the same time. Is this intentional?
(There could be other sensitivities in the menu that I am unaware of because I don't normally use the ESP-r Linux version.)

Regards,<br /!
