I found the TMY3 files, too, and they convert (except for the EOF "annoyance", but I guess that is no longer an issue). However, for example the San Antonio International Airport TMY3 EPW file has the proper longitude of -98.47 (- for W, I presume) in it, but after the clm epw2bin conversion in ESP-r, it is shown as 8.5 W, i.e. something like 90 - 98.47 rounded up. If I count from Greenwich, it should clearly be 98.47 W.
