[esp-r] Re: Xquartz & Yosemite upgrade

Going through a upgrade of operating system could change many of the dependencies
of existing ESP-r executables.  This is an example of what might happen.  A quicker
fix (on OSX a fresh compile of ESP-r probably would take about 10-12 minutes) would 
be to compile from source.

Getting the distribution from github into a folder named ESP-rCentral is a short command sequence:

git clone --recurse-submodules https://github.com/ESP-rCommunity/ESP-rSource.git ESP-rCentral

If you have the GCC compiler set from the MacPorts project the compilers would likely be in
/opt/local/bin and there might be several versions so you should include the --compiler_version
command line option you give to the Install script.

Ah, O.K.

The next question then is probably if after upgrading to Yosemite, all the Gtk-Stuff was updated / re-installed? Possibly it is not an issue with the ESP-r binaries, but with the Gtk-Installation which to my knowledge is not standard for OS X. It could of course be an issue of both binaries.
