How did you define the outside temperature of zero?
The traditional way to do this is to create a weather file which has
a constant outside temperature. What are your assumptions for
wind speed and solar radiation?
One would expect an initial descries in temperature after the heat was turned
off and then the rate of change to decrease and the delta T reduced. It might
take some time for the temperatures to come really close to equality.

Subject: [esp-r] temperature
Dear All,
I prepared small one-zone object with walls made of full brick.
I chose a constant outside temperature of 0 degrees Celsius.
Inside of the zone I warm up to 25 degrees and then turned off the heating.
It is possible that the equalization of outside and inside temperature was only after 1,5 months. Or maybe I forgot something?
Thank you very much,
Regards,
I.Silva
