You question about urban streets.... the term "can simulate plant inside the buildings" - is this environmental control equipment
or vegetation? Environmental control equipment that is located outside the building would be part of an ESP-r description but
heat exchanges with such equipment and the outside air does not alter the state of the outside air.

If your question is can ESP-r model things like green roof designs there is a group in China who are working on an explicit
model of the heat and moisture transfer of green roof designs (work in progress).

Subject: [esp-r] Plant simulation

dear madam/sir,

I am a PhD candidate of urban design and my dissertation is about the effect of urban streets on energy consumption of residential buildings in hot and dry climate.
I am looking for finding a software to simulate energy consumption inside a typical building in different streets and it is important for me to simulate green spaces out side the buildings. I understood that Esp -r can simulate plant inside the buildings, how about outside?
Is this software useful for my simulation?

I am looking forward to hear from you.
Best regards,
Armaghan.
