Dear Romana,

yes, this is possible. You can compose your single room with several (thermal, control) zones and connect them by an air flow network. For the connecting construction of the "air-walls" you need to define a "fictitious" construction.

Best regards
Monika

Betreff: [esp-r] zonal model - question

Dear ESP-r users,

I have a question, is it possible in ESP-r to model a single room with SEVERAL control volumes (thermal zones) connected with each other by an airflow network in order to create a zonal model?

Zonal models are often referred in literature as an intermediate approach between lumped models and CFD models. Is it possible to create such model in ESP-r by default (without additional code contribution)?

Kind regards,
Romana Antczak
