Hi Arianna,
I have done this many times in validation experiments where we impose the measured zone temperature (e.g. at 10 minute intervals) and compare predicted and measured heating/cooling inputs.
You will need to use the temporal database to hold the setpoint data and set a control to use this. I will see if I can find a simple example and send to you next week.
Regards
Paul
Hi All,
my previous email may not be that clear so I will try to be more specific. I would like to use a set point temperature that varies throughout the day. Can I do that in ESP-r? Please let me know,
thank you,
Arianna

Subject: [esp-r] temperature set point
Dear All,
I would like to use some monitored internal temperature as a temperature set point to calculate the heating load. I have daily averages for the month of January at the moment, do you know if there is a way in ESP-r to do that? I may be able to find some hourly data . Please let me know,
Thank you
Arianna
