Please clarify because there is a 'Cygwin version of ESP-r' which runs on Windows
machines but within a Linux emulation environment named Cygwin. There is a
different version of ESP-r which runs on Windows machines which is termed
the 'native windows version'.

Below is a link to a recent native windows version of ESP-r. It is not dependent
on having a Cygwin emulation environment.

ALSO please ensure that your computer has a localle which uses a '.' as
a decimal place rather than a comma. Commas in ESP-r descriptive files
are used to separate data.

ALSO your PATH environment variable might need to be updated so that
it includes the folder where the ESP-r executables and associated .dll
files are located (C:/Esru/esp-r/bin).

Would someone in the ESP-r community confirm that the ASHRAE tests
can be run within a Windows environment? It might assume a Linux computer.

Subject: [esp-r] Error in ESP-r

Hi,

I want to simulate the standard cases in validation testing(ASHRAE). When
I want to simulate it the error is occurred ( The program can't start
because cygwin1.dll is missing from your computer. try reinstalling the
program to fix this problem.)
I reinstall the program again, but the error occurred again.
I use ESP-r for Windows.
Thanks.

Best Regards,
Helia Taheri
