This is likely to be an issue with how your computer deals with information
written to files - it may not complete the writing of the file until you request
that the file is closed or that the application generating the file is closed.

If you open the exported file in a text editor while the results analysis
module is still running there is a chance that the operating system has
not finished writing the contents of the file.

What some people have done in the past is (in the results analysis
application) to toggle the re-direct of output from the file back to the text feedback
of the application and then ONE of the following:
a) exit the results analysis module
b) asked to export data to a new export file with a different name.

One of these should force the data still in the buffer to be written
to the export file and then close the export file so that it can be
used by other applications.

If you are working with the Native Windows version of ESP-r it might
be that you are using an older version and you might also try to
update ESP-r. I can send a link to a new installer if you wish.

Subject: [esp-r] information of the last few days missing

Dear ESP-r specialists, every time I tried to extract the outcome from the RES. file, the information is not complete. For example, if I simulate the period from 15th Oct to 31st Dec, extracting the heating load , the last few days are missing. If I rerun the simulation for the same period ,if you are lucky, you may get the ful information, but maybe the information regarding the solar gain is not complete...Is there some way that I can get all the complete result for all the items like heating load, solar gain, etc?

Regards,
